Maximize the lessons learned through trials with THE ACID TEST; a teaching on enduring test and trials.  The Bible clearly states, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy." God tempers his children with trials of varying degrees.  I term this process, "A purification of the heart by trials."  Can you convince a believer that trials are for his benefit?  God spoke concerning the children of Israel that His leading them through the wilderness for forty years, humbling them, and suffering them to hunger was to prove to them what was in their hearts.  Jeremiah, the prophet, said the heart is deceitful above all things being desperately wicked.
